Perfect fit! As a short guy it's always impossible to find pants I don't need to fold or get professionally tailored. These fit perfect out of the package and super comfortable, I can wear them out and about and also to lounge around the house. Will definitely be buying more.
I ordered two pairs of jeans and I’m concerned about the quality. While the fit is great, the jeans themselves have started to pill after 2 wears — I sent a message, and it was said that this was due to how they sand paper the fabric. Unfortunately, I’m not left feeling great about the appearance or quality. I will not be a repeat purchaser.

As we explained over DM, the abrasion you’re seeing comes from the hand-sanding process used to create the fades on that particular wash, and is a necessary step to give the jeans the worn-in look and texture. The rinse washes don't get this sanding step, which is why you don't see the abbrasion on the rinse pair you purchased.
As we also mentioned in our messages, if you do notice any actual fabric failure (threads or yarns breaking down rather than just surface abrasion), please let us know so we can make it right.

Perfect fit for my 5'5 frame. There are only a few places that make quality clothing for shorter guys, and Abbreviated is at the top of the list for me.

Exellent fit! I used to have to have all of my jeans and pants altered, but am new to Abbrieviated, and they are great. These fit perfectly right out of the box.
These jeans are great! Very neutral silhouette overall. The fabric feels soft but still heavy weight and with a tiny bit of stretch. I'd ideally need a 33" waist but the 32" was way too small and the 34" is a bit too big but not something a belt wont fix. I'm surprised how much room is in the seat and thighs but I think they'll break in and take a more custom to me shape over time. Length of the inseam is great, I prefer no break so I got the 25". I'm eager to order a few other washes or look at their other pants as well.

Best fitting jeans I’ve ever owned. I’m 5’6 and 178lbs and I bought 34x26.5. They fit perfectly. Length is just right with no bunching at the ankles and hanging perfectly. They are great quality mid weight jeans with minimal stretchiness unlike other jeans that come with so much stretch they lose shape and feel like leggings. I don’t get the sagginess in the bum like other jeans and the rear pockets sit perfectly instead of halfway down my leg like other jeans made for 6 feet tall people.
When I saw that they made jeans in shorter sizes length wise I was hyped. Every jean brand for a W34 is always too long for me. For context I’m 5’8. I bought 34x26.5 and it’s the perfect fit and silhouette I was looking for. I even bought another pair in a different wash bc they were that good. Great brand and the exchange process is simple as well. The first pair I bought I got was 34x25 so I exhanged them bc they were a bit too short to my liking but nonetheless I’m now satisfied with my new pair.
These jeans are perfect. I got the medium dark wash and it’s the perfect color for daily wear. Never had jeans fit this good!
