I’ll probably have to size up to a large, but good fit
Best fitting shirts I’ve ever found. Great fit and perfect length. Don’t wear like a dress. Good quality, material and soft.
The shirt looks and feels good. It was a little small for me, but I’m muscular up top so it’s expected.
BUT
After one wash the armpits are completely stained. Only shirt I own that it happened to. Shame. I’ll continue to buy the jeans. They’re great. Not so much the shirts.

My boyfriend bought himself a few of these shirts after searching for a brand that was specifically advertised for “labubu sized men”- his words, not mine. While my man is generally confident in his size, he was really tired of struggling with oversized shirts that he had to hem every time. Hoping these shirts would fix this problem, he was very disappointed when he received them, and the hem was not indeed shorter than a regular men’s tshirt. It was so sad to see the look of disappointment cross his face. I’m hoping that Abbreviated takes this review to heart, so that other men don’t meet the same fate.
For reference, he’s 5’6, and ordered a size medium. He did say the quality was nice, and the collar is flattering, but the main appeal was the fit.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Based on the photo, I think your boyfriend might be well-served trying the next size down - this t-shirt is designed to have a trim fit, so if too large of a size is chosen it can end up feeling a bit too long. While we fit our clothes on shorter guys during the development process to make sure they're appropriately sized, and provide a full set of measurements to help you make an informed sizing decision, we appreciate the feedback and will definitely take in into account for future product releases.

Quality could be better. Very light see through. More of an under t-shirt and not a going out t-shirt.

I’m 152lbs and have been wearing True Classic Tees, Size Small for years now. I hated seeing how much they bunched up around my waist in photos. Found this company through PhilGotbooks who happens to be my exact size and weight. Figured it would be a no-brainer, and it worked out really well! The small was a perfect fit, quality was great. Made True Classic look obsolete on me real quick! Will be switching over for all my basic tees going forward!
I'm 5'1 and 130 with a stocky-ish build. These cropped t-shirts are the best fits for me that I've ever had. I usually never write reviews but I purchased a medium thinking it will be too long or too big and it was literally perfect! I'm so glad Abbreviated exists..

Hi Ronald - sorry to hear you weren't happy with the fit of the t-shirt. I can see that you tried the shorter, cropped version. We'd recommend making a free exchange for the standard length option, which is 2 inches longer in the torso.

Great fit. Was looking for a slightly shorter short without that boxy fit and these are them. The standard tee is nice and lightweight. The heavyweight tee is great for a more dressed up look. Highly recommend and will be purchasing more.
I’m short and most cropped shirts aren’t cropped enough. These are perfect and feel buttery soft + high quality
The fit is great and I like the crop. Stands up to a wash and dry (did not shrink). Has a great modern look. I'm a bit on the muscular side (42" chest) and the large fits very comfortably around chest and shoulders. I will definitely purchase in more colors.
