Really substantial thickness. I received many compliments on the tshirt. Fair price vs other options. I would recommend and will probably buy another color.

I bought this T-shirt for my husband who is 5'3", 120 pounds, and lean/lightly muscular. For years, he's struggled to find clothes that fit, so for his birthday this year, I made it my mission to find some clothes that could fit him with no tailoring needed. Abbreviated came through! This shirt (and nearly everything we ordered from them) fit him perfectly in size XS. This shirt also lives up to its "heavyweight" description; the cotton is thick and seems like it will hold up well over time. And best of all, my husband is absolutely thrilled to finally have somewhere to shop that makes him feel seen and included!

Feels amazing and fits true to size!

Small fits well. Husband likes them -says fits great. Well made. Have not washed it yet so can’t say if will shrink, but they are preshrunk…. So hopefully won’t. Based on initial impressions, will buy again.

This sounds like an exaggeration but I’ve definitely never had a shirt be this flattering on me. There is somehow less room in the chest and a totally neutral shape in the body. It makes the chest and shoulders look strong without clinging on the belly or hips. The gray color is great and occasionally looks blue/purple in different lighting. Length is perfect- hangs with almost no break and doesn’t ride up too much if your arms are above your head. For more reference for anyone trying to judge sizing, I’m 5’5” and 165lbs, kind of with a pear shape build.

Love the heavyweight t-shirts. Comfortable and proportioned appropriately for my 5’8” frame.

Thanks for making such a great quality product. I bought a few T-shirts and sweatpants, and the quality is genuinely really nice. My only issue is the proportions of the T-shirts. I’m a slimmer guy, 5'7", and typically wear a medium, but these shirts are extremely wide the sweatpants are wide as well... The length is perfect on every shirt, but the width makes them fit more like a large or even an XL. This is the normal fit too, so I can’t imagine how wide the relaxed fit must be. I’ve noticed the founder, or at least the guy who seems to be featured most often on Instagram, has a broader build, and honestly, it almost feels like the shirts are made specifically for his proportions. I’m sure that makes sense to some degree if he’s involved in designing the brand, and this isn’t meant as a knock on the company at all, especially since the free returns make it easy to try things out. I’ll be returning these for now, but if you ever offered a slimmer-width version, I’d definitely consider buying again. The quality is there, I just wish the proportions worked better for a slimmer build.

For their standard shirts i get a large, but for the heavyweights the medium fits me better

Nice thick shirt perfect fit

This is the perfect t shirt for sure. It fits so well and feels so premium. It’s thick without being uncomfortable. I like it more than the $25 standard t shirts as those pilled a bit and aren’t the best for warm weather in my opinion (fantastic for layering though). You won’t regret buying one of these. Great job Abbreviated and pls pls more colors for these!

5'8", 185lbs, with broad chest. Normally buy size L but always have problems with shirt length. The regular Heavyweight T in L fits well with enough room and the right length (not a crop top, but not too long either). The oversized Heavyweight T I did not like (even in a size M). Compared to say Gap's Heavyweight Crop T in M, this T in L has a little more length to make it fit better. Just wish there were more colors available (especially Navy).

The tee fit perfect for a relaxed fit! Wasn’t too long or baggy.

I’m in between med and large these days, but neither fit well from most brands. Ordered large and it fits so well. Not sure how but it hides my belly while staying fitted enough in chest/arms/shoulders. It’s short, but doesn’t end up a crop top. The material seems good quality.
